What Does this MRI Scan Result Mean?

Can someone explain this to me receive this letter after having a MRI done stating the following : 1.Degenarative disk at L4-5 with annular tear and mild broad-based posterior disk bulge. This appears to contact the exciting L5 nerve root bilaterally, without contour abnormality of the nerve root. Correlate with level of patient's symptoms.2. Partial sacralization of L5 with rudimentary L5-S1.

1.There is a disc between the vertebral bodies helps as a shock absorber effect, the disc contains maximum percentage of water, due to degenerative changes when the water content / hydration is lost the disc slips / bulges.
2.The disc at L4-5 shows annular ( puerperal zone of the disc) tear with disc bulge.
3.At the level of L5 the disc is causing pressure effect on the nerve root.
4.Partiall L5 seen merging with S1 which is one of the normal variations seen in few patients.
5.Treatment in this will be back exercise followed by physiotherapy. Annular tear might need interventional procedure. Good luck.
